Two minor comments - I liked the large dispensers of shampoo and shower gel, mounted in the shower, but it would be nice if there was an additional dispenser of conditioner. The room seemed clean, fresh and up to par. I did, however, like the plentiful counter space that came with this room. I really didn't need the kitchenette aspect of the room, as I had no need for the fridge or microwave. I feel I made the right choice for me, as I found the hotel "checked the boxes" for what I was looking for, especially since I've not very familiar with Abilene. I chose this hotel because it seemed to receive a string of generally positive reviews concerning cleanliness and safety, and it's a fairly new hotel, too. I'd not stayed at a Home2Suites hotel anywhere before this, so I didn't know quite what to expect.
